Cinematic film projection light beam in dark theater

Our Story

Every life deserves
a premiere.

eMMe was born from grief, shaped by cinema, and built for the communities who deserve more than a traditional goodbye.

eMMe founder

The Origin

It started with a loss — and a question.

eMMe was created by MissUmuch.com LLC — a company founded on the belief that the way we say goodbye to the people we love is one of the most important things we do as human beings. And that for too long, it has been done poorly.

The traditional funeral service was designed for a different era. It was built around logistics, not legacy. Around efficiency, not emotion. Around what was easiest for the industry — not what was most meaningful for the family.

We asked a different question: What if the farewell felt like a premiere? What if the people we love got to be the subject of a film — not a slideshow, not a playlist, but a real cinematic tribute — screened in a real theater, for the community that loved them?

That question became eMMe.

Cinematic Memorial Premiere

eMMe — cinematic, cultural, communal

What We Believe

Grief is not the enemy. Forgetting is.

eMMe is not a grief service. We are a celebration service. We believe that the most powerful antidote to loss is not silence or solemnity — it is story. It is the act of gathering a community and saying: look at this person. Look at what they built. Look at who they loved.

We believe every culture has its own way of honoring the dead — and that every one of those ways deserves to be woven into the premiere. We believe the cinema is not a frivolous choice. It is the most powerful communal storytelling space humans have ever built.

And we believe that the families who trust us with this moment deserve the full weight of that power.

Story First

Every decision begins with the person being honored.

Culturally Fluent

No tradition is too specific, too regional, or too sacred.

Cinematic Standard

Professional production. No compromises.

Community gathering in celebration of life

The Company Behind eMMe

MissUmuch.com LLC

eMMe is a product of MissUmuch.com LLC — a company built around a single conviction: that the people we lose deserve to be remembered with the same care, craft, and intention that they brought to their lives.

The name says everything. Miss U Much. It is not a tagline. It is the feeling that drives every premiere we produce — the ache of absence, and the determination to fill it with something beautiful.

MissUmuch.com LLC is headquartered in the United States and operates eMMe premieres through a growing network of Ambassador facilitators and theater venue partners.

How We Work

Our Commitments

We never rush a family.

There is no sales pressure in an eMMe consultation. Families take the time they need. We are here when they are ready.

We never publish a price.

Every premiere is scoped personally. Pricing is discussed transparently with your Ambassador — never posted online.

We never use grief imagery.

eMMe is a celebration platform. Our aesthetic is cinematic and warm — not dark, not mournful, not clinical.

We never ignore a tradition.

If your family's cultural practice matters to you, it matters to us. No tradition is too specific or too unfamiliar for an eMMe Ambassador.

We always deliver a film.

Every family receives a professionally produced cinematic tribute film — a permanent keepsake of the premiere.

We always assign a dedicated Ambassador.

One person. One family. One premiere. Your Ambassador is with you from the first conversation to the final frame.
